The problem we took on
The need for mentors is enormous and the ask is a web form. People say yes to rooms, not to paperwork.
What we did about it
So instead of asking people to sit through a pitch, we build a day they’d come to anyway: training sessions, food, music, games with the Littles, and mentors telling their own stories in their own words. Wellness for the kids, a front door for the adults. The ask at the end is simple: be a Big. The festival exists so that ask lands on people already having a good day.
