Change the Culture Tampa
Change the Culture Tampa brings together nonprofits, local businesses, community leaders and people who want to contribute to create projects that directly benefit our city. We find great organizations already doing the work, use media to tell their stories, and build creative ways for people and businesses to get involved.
This year, that has meant creating impact films for local nonprofits, bringing mentors and athletes to New Life Village through Play It Forward, supporting community fundraisers, connecting people to volunteer and mentorship opportunities, and building collaborations that put more resources and attention behind organizations serving Tampa Bay.
Now we’re raising $20,000 to finish the year strong and build the infrastructure CTC needs for 2027.

What We’ve Built This Year
2026 was our first year putting the idea into practice.
We’ve worked alongside organizations across Tampa Bay to create media, community projects, volunteer experiences, fundraisers and collaborations designed to bring more people and resources into their work.
One example is Play It Forward at New Life Village, where we’re building a recurring sports mentorship program that brings positive role models into the community to spend time with kids through sports, competition and mentorship.
We’ve also used our creative resources to tell the stories of local organizations, connected our network with causes throughout Tampa Bay, and helped build new collaborations between nonprofits, businesses and community leaders.
The biggest thing we’ve learned is that CTC doesn’t need to recreate the incredible work already happening in Tampa.
Our role is to help more people discover it, tell those stories in a compelling way, bring new resources and relationships to the table, and create opportunities for people to participate firsthand.
That’s the model we’re taking into 2027.
