The problem we took on
A cake, a room, people who showed up on purpose. Ordinary for most children and not guaranteed for all of them.
What we did about it
CTC helped Nate celebrate his birthday. Nate was diagnosed with a Germ Cell Tumor when he was 19 months old. He has been through surgical intervention, months in the hospital, had over 20 active rounds of chemo and radiation and has fought a battle no child should ever have to fight for the last 4 1/2 years. Nate LOVES Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man, cooking, and you guessed it, the Tampa Bay Lightning. He says he wants to be a hockey player 😁 (but can't play quite yet). I am attaching some photos of Nate here. CTC, Spider-Man, and Darth Vader's whole gang came out and joined Nate's special day!
