The problem we took on
Programs exist for children and then stop. Project Focus serves the people who aged out of them, and the city has very little built for that.
What we did about it
Started by CrossFit Games athletes Jenn and Sam Dancer, brought to Tampa with Project Focus: adaptive and community divisions row side by side, and proceeds fund education, life skills, and workforce programs for young people with developmental disabilities. It’s the rare fundraiser that looks like a party because it is one. Nobody has to be talked into coming back.
