Project Focus Fun Run
Friday, May 8, 2026 · with Project Focus · Tampa, FL
A fun run with the young adults of Project Focus — athletes with developmental disabilities and the mentors who showed up to run beside them. Leis, beads, face paint, flags strung between the tents, and a course where the point was never the time.

The problem we took on
Programs exist for children and then stop. Project Focus serves the people who aged out of them, and the city has very little built for that.
What we did about it
Project Focus uses movement to build confidence, communication, and independence, and a run like this is that mission at full volume: every finisher celebrated, every lap loud, nobody on the sidelines. This is our third project with Project Focus, after Glow Row and Breakaway — a running partnership in every sense. When a collaboration works, you keep building on it.
